Graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Russell Kamer, MD is a board-certified internist, occupational medicine physician, Certified Medical Review Officer, and FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He maintains an active primary care practice and serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College.

Dr. Kamer has served as an NCAA Drug Testing Crew Chief and as a Doping Control Medical Officer at the 1996 Olympic Games. As co-founder of Partners in Safety, he has reviewed hundreds of thousands of workplace drug tests and developed extensive expertise in MRO decisions, collection procedures, DOT Part 40, and commercial-driver medical fitness.
